Backstage Tour at the Grand Ole Opry

We had a great time Friday at the Grand Ole Opry starting with a backstage tour at 4:00 pm and finishing off with a live Grand Ole Opry performance with Vince Gill, Roy Clark and the Oakridge Boys

the Grand Ole Opry began as a simple radio show in 1925 and is now radio's longest running program. Opry shows are broadcast live on the Opry's mobile app, 650 AM WSM and on www.opry.com and www.wsmonline.com

The backstage tour was the highlight of our visit. We got to see where the stars hang out while waiting to go on stage and got to walk out onto the stage and stand on the historic hardwood circle from the original Ryman Auditorium.

We had great seats in the centre about 50 feet from the stage. The hosts for the four segments were, Jeannie Seely, Larry Gatlin, Bill Anderson and Vince Gill.

We added some of the photos we took of our time at the Grand Ole Opry in our Photo Ablum. Tap the 'View Photo Album' link on the home page.
